Children's Ministry
Welcome to CCOC Kids!
A place where all kids are welcome, valued, and encouraged as they learn about God’s word and about Jesus as God’s plan for Salvation.
At Centerburg Church of Christ, our mission is for kids and families to understand and celebrate the Good News of Jesus at every age and stage of learning.
Programming for Infants through 5th Grade
Sunday Mornings at 9:00AM and 10:30AM
Nursery (Newborn through 2 years)—A safe, loving place for our youngest children. Staffed with a high volunteer to child ratio, all adult volunteers have been background
checked and approved by leadership.
The Nursery is open during the 9:00AM service and 10:30AM service
Toddlers and Preschool (2 years old through 5 years old)—A fun, engaging environment, where kids participate in songs, lessons, and activities as they learn that the Bible is God’s true words and explore the Bible as one big story pointing to God’s
rescue plan to bring people back to Him!
Toddler and Preschool classes are available on the main level of the building during 9:00AM service and 10:30AM service
Elementary (Kindergarten through 5th Grade)—An exciting and welcoming environment where kids explore God’s word and learn to understand who they are because of who He is! Through a variety of age-tailored activities and lessons, kids hear that the Bible is God’s true words to us about himself and that God created each of them and knowseach of them and wants them to know Him too!
Elementary programming is available upstairs during 9:00AM service and 10:30AM service.
- 9:00- Sunday School
o Kindergarten -3 rd Grade Class
o 4 th and 5 th Grade Class
- 10:30- Kids large group Bible and Worship time (K-5 th grade together), followed by small groups study time
o K-2nd grade Girls Small Group
o K-2nd grade Boys Small Group
o 3rd – 5th grade Girls Small Group
o 3rd – 5th grade Boys Small Group

Plan your visit:
- Check In
When you arrive, our team will help you check your children in and show you where to go. Upon checking in, you will get a parent pick-up tag that matches your child’s name tag.
- Meet Our Team
You'll meet friendly Kids Ministry volunteers who will help your child feel comfortable and cared for. All volunteers are background checked and approved prior to serving in
Kid’s Ministry.
- Kids Learn & Grow
Your child will participate in an age-appropriate games, lessons, and activities centered on God's Word and the Good News of Jesus.
- Pick Up
At the end of the service, you'll know exactly where to meet your child. Bring your pick-up tag to check them out of their class.
